Apple RCS support has announced and agreed to add RCS messaging to the iPhone in 2024. But green bubbles are staying green.
At the earliest, Apple had been in a serious conversation with Google because of a debate over RCS (Rich Communication Services messages) and Google asked to support its Rich Communication Services messages.
For this reason, Apple rcs support announced that the company will add RCS to the iPhone by the latest next year. So, thus it is happening in reality.
Now iPhone users will soon be able to use RCS messaging features along with iMessage. Those who don’t know, RCS chat is considered as the successor to SMS.

In response to apple rcs support, Google said it was “happy to see Apple take their first step today by coming on board to embrace RCS”.
RCS messaging is a higher standard of communication that is better than SMS.
Look at WhatsApp, a kind of RCS chat that enables users to send photos and videos in high quality, typing indicators, chat over Wi-Fi and cellular networks, and many more.
Similarly in this manner, RCS in iPhone’s default messaging app will add typing indicators, read receipts, high-quality media, location sharing, and among more features.
