We all know that waking up early in the morning makes us more productive. Since our childhood, we were taught to follow, “early to bed and early to rise” as a ritual. Waking up at the crack of dawn and starting our day in the right way makes us more productive and purposeful.

Within this technology-driven planet, the very first thing we do when we start our eyes would be to check our cell phones for emails, messages, updates, etc., we may have missed throughout our resting period. However, do you know that it’s a poor habit that adversely affects the remainder of your daily life?

As per a study in IDC, about 80% of smartphone users assess their cellular phones over 15 minutes of waking up daily.
Doctors now concur that instantly checking your telephone the moment you wake up may begin off your day in a means that’s more likely to increase tension and leave you feeling overwhelmed. To put it differently, you’re destroying your day before it begins.

The good news is that making small changes and adding a few habits to your daily routine can have a huge impact on your day-to-day life.

1. Make your bed

As simple as it might sound, making your own bed right after you wake up drastically improves the quality of your day. The way we do one thing is the way we do everything, and discipline in all aspects of life is the key to success.

2. Stretch your body

It’s typical for the body to become stiff and reduced in energy through sleep hours. Doing gentle stretches immediately after waking loosens your muscles helps with versatility. Five minutes of stretching alleviate undesirable tension from your joints and ligaments, improves blood flow, and cause you to feel more energetic.

3. Be grateful

Start your day with gratitude and positive affirmations. Be happy for another day in your life amidst the chaos and craziness of the world.
Count your blessings rather than your troubles. Cherishing what you’ve helps you appreciate what life offers and generates positivity in your lifestyle.

Utilize the energy of “I’m” positive affirmations very first thing in the morning stand in the front of the mirror to have a conversation with the most wonderful individual of your lifetime. . .yourself. Be kind to yourself and exercise yourself enjoy every day.

4. Keep your body hydrated

Replace caffeine with lukewarm water to keep yourself hydrated. I recently drinking the juice of three lemons followed by a glass of lukewarm water every morning.

Within a week of beginning this particular ritual, my hair and skin look healthy, and that I feel like a totally new person. Some people today favor making breakfast their greatest and most important meal. Other people follow intermittent fasting and consume only certain hours during the day.

Whatever eating routine you follow, always honor the meals on your plate. Be mindful of each snack you’re placing in your mouth, and this will enhance your digestion and finally your own productivity. A constipated gut contributes to a clogged mind and influences our decision-making skills.

5. Exercise your body and brain

We are complete only when our bodies and mind are in sync with each other. Yoga and meditation are great ways to bring synchronicity between body and mind.

Setting aside a couple of minutes each morning to concentrate on your breath will probably set the tone for the remainder of your daily diet. Twenty minutes of meditation can allow you to keep focused, cheerful and positive for another 24 hours daily.

The most crucial element in beginning your day with excitement is excellent sleep. Keeping a minimum of six to eight hours of sleep aids prevent fatigue and irritation the following moment.

Repeat the above every 24 hours to stay content and happy for life. Easy, right?
