E-Macan will be unveiled at the Los Angeles motor show in November 2023, and deliveries will start in 2024.
The Porsche E-Macan's batteries and motors will run on an 800-volt system. The batteries are smaller and lighter which will ensure quick charging and consistent high-performance
The new E-Macan will come with a 100 kWh battery pack. Some variants can reach a range of up to 700km.
Rumors even suggest that a wild 750bhp Turbo S GT is in development. Charging from 5% to 80% is claimed to take only 18 minutes on a rapid charging plug.
Porsche anticipates that 80% of its lineup will be all-electric by 2030. It is also preparing its supply chain for carbon neutrality by the end the decade.
Electric Macan has similar design to petrol-powered car and will share parts with Audi A6 e-tron. The car will be offered in RWD and AWD models
Pricing information is still unknown, but you can expect it will be considerably more expensive than current Macan. The electric version will be closer to £60,000.
